The 2021 NFL schedule came out this week, and everyone is talking about the Patriots VS. Buccaneers in Week 4. It’s the most expensive ticket on the market, with the cheapest ticket going for $1,150. It’s the return of Tom Brady back to Foxborough as the defending Super Bowl Champion with the Bucs. While the Patriots, went all-in on free agency and drafted a quarterback after going 7-9, and missing the playoffs in 2020. One thing is for certain though not only are the fans looking forward to this game but Tom Brady Sr. is too. He called into Zolak and Bertrand show the other day, and couldn’t wait to talk about the Week 4 matchup.
Tom Brady Sr. Wasted No Time When The Schedule Came Out To Give His Take
Why did Tom Brady Sr. call in? Well, the answer is pretty simple “I saw the schedule last night and I started salivating when I saw that we play the Patriots in the fourth game of the season,” Brady Sr. said on Zolak & Bertrand. “We’re coming up here to make our record 4-0 after the fourth game so it’s a pretty fun time.” You read that right he can’t wait to be 4-0 after that game. Now, is the usual bulletin board material for the Patriots? Yes, however, there is just one problem. They don’t have a quarterback. I’m sure all Patriots fans would obviously rather have Brady over Cam Newton. Brady Sr. thinks they will beat the Patriots pretty good saying “We expect to beat the Patriots rather handily, frankly,”
Tom Brady’s Dad Wants To See The Bucs Beat The Patriots
What a kick in the gut that would be for Belichick. Letting the greatest to ever play quarterback walk out the door. Only to comeback to play against you the following season as a defending Super Bowl champion. His father calls in to the Sports Hub four months before the game even happens to say the Bucs are going to beat the Patriots pretty good. Then October gets here and they do. That wouldn’t look good on Belichick at all. Meanwhile, a full Gillette Stadium is chanting Brady’s name the whole time. A response would be Belichick putting a game plan together to beat the Bucs and shut Brady’s dad up on the field.
I think the Bucs beat the Patriots that week too. Brady probably didn’t like his dad calling in and giving fuel to the Patriots already. However, they are still missing the driving force of that offense. The drama is already starting for that game and we haven’t even started training camp yet. It should be a fun couple of months leading up to it. Buckle up.
