Bill Belichick went all-in on free agency so far this year and he’s still not done. The Patriots improved in all areas that from the offense, defense, and special teams. Getting the top two tight ends was huge for the Patriots in Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith. The Patriots’ offensive line improved as well with the signings of Trent Brown, Ted Karras, and resigning David Andrews. Cam Newton should have a better season this time around with an improved roster. There should be zero excuses and they should make the playoffs.
Belichick Improved The Team In Free Agency
It was rumored mostly by the media players didn’t want to come to play for Belichick. It was all Brady that got players to New England at a chance to win the Super Bowl. Well, not so fast as players actually like playing for Belichick as well. He’s still the greatest coach of all time and proved it’s not just Brady who could get talented players. Belichick heard the noise all off-season about he couldn’t get players to New England because Brady wasn’t there. He responded in a big way signing 10 players in free agency.

Belichick is never going to quit on a season. He hated going 7-9 last year while watching his former quarterback with the Super Bowl. Belichick who will be 69 in April has made it clear that is not acceptable with his latest moves. He wants to win as much as he can before he retires. No matter what anybody says Belichick in fact can get players to play for him because of the experience he has at coaching. He also wants to prove he can with the Super Bowl without Brady as the quarterback. If that means Cam is the quarterback then so be it. Again, with a much-proven roster, they should be a playoff team no excuses.
