Jarrett Stidham Should Continue To Ignore The Noise

Jarrett Stidham will and has so far ignored the noise. He’s not Tom Brady, but will be compared to him by his work ethic as long as Brady is in the league. Stidham has not spoken a word about the upcoming season at all. He has worked with Edelman and other receivers so far before training camp. The difference is there hasn’t been pictures of Stidham working with his teammates like there is with Brady. The NFL PA has advised that players not work together until training camp due to the rise of COVID-19 cases. Brady doesn’t care though and his motto is no excuses.

Stidham seems to be a down to earth person and very motivated. I like the fact he hasn’t spoken on his Instagram about being the next guy. I’m sure he’s trying to block out the outside noise with the help of his teammates. Don’t read Twitter, don’t listen to sports talk radio, and don’t watch sport shows. He should know what they will say, that he isn’t good, he won’t be Brady, the Patriots will go 6-10. There should be a chip on Stidham’s shoulder, and one thing he can take from Brady is he’ll do the talking on the field.

Stidham can and has learned a lot of Brady.  He’s the first one to enter the building and the last to leave. Just like Brady was when he first was a Patriot. Imagine if Stidham can play at a high level someday and win Super Bowls. Not just one but multiple. God help the AFC East and the rest of the NFL. Not only would Stidham look great, but Belichick was right again. The Patriots aren’t nothing without Tom Brady, they have a quarterback waiting for his shot to prove people he belongs in the NFL.
