Jimmy Garoppolo heading to The Super Bowl
Jimmy Garoppolo heading to the Super Bowl already helps Bill Belichick's legacy. Belichick knew he saw something special in Garoppolo when he drafted him in the 2014 NFL Draft. Even after Belichick traded him to the 49ers he praised him, which he doesn't do to many player he trades. He wanted to keep Garoppolo to replace Brady someday, but Brady wasn't ready to hang it up after winning two Super Bowls before Garoppolo got traded. There was no way Brady was going to let Garoppolo take his job, so Belichick traded him.
Whatever happens he has helped Belichick's legacy
Belichick knows the more times Garoppolo wins the more it helps his legacy. It proves that he found the next guy to replace Brady. Belichick made the right decision though, to part ways with Jimmy, and Bill got a Super Bowl out of it. Belichick knows what he's doing. It's always doing what's best for the team.
Belichick could've won with Garoppolo
Belichick could've won the AFC East with Garoppolo, no doubt about it. He could've gone to the Super Bowl easily too. He might have even won a Super Bowl with him. Even having Garoppolo passing for 77 yards in the NFC Championship it doesn't matter. It still proves you can win with Garoppolo. The 49ers are a solid team all around and will probably win the Super Bowl. You know Belichick will be cheering for the 49ers and Garoppolo on Super Bowl Sunday.
