Boston Bruins | Looking Ahead

The Boston Bruins head back home to the TD Garden as they face the Winnipeg Jets for the first time this year. After a solid 6-2 win over the Nashville Predators Tuesday night, Boston will need to continue to build on that effort. While the top line have been carrying the heavy scoring load, Tuesday’s game saw other lines contributing as Danton Heinen, Chris Wagner, David Krejci and Charlie Coyle each scored.

GAMES AHEAD

Winnipeg's Mark Scheifele was recently named the NHL Second Star of the Week ending January 5th. In his last five games, the 26-year-old center has an 8-point game streak. He leads the team with 48 points and 28 assists. He had a four-point game in the Jets recent 7-4 win over the Colorado Avalanche.

Much like the Bruins, the Jets were down key players and saw the return of Andrew Copp and a possible return of defenseman Dmitry Kulikov. Winnipeg  will face the B’s to close out their back-to back this week (they face the Toronto Maple Leafs the night before). In their last 10 games, the Jets are 3-5-2, while the Bruins are 4-1-5.
